VOID/BREAKER came out of Early Access on 4 November 2026. It is a bullet-hell roguelite FPS built by one developer, published by Playstack, and priced at $29.99 with no launch discount. This site is a reference for that build: the systems explained, the five bosses mapped, the thirteen achievements listed with their real unlock rates, and the price history laid out without the marketing.
Everything here is written for the 1.0 build. Where a mechanic changed during Early Access — and most of them did — the pages say which update changed it, because half the advice circulating online was written for a version that no longer exists.
Before your first run
- Turn on Auto Sprint. It is in the settings, it was added in demo patch 0.9.25, and it frees a finger for the dash you will use constantly.
- Open the hacks screen first. Three hack tiers are unlocked by default, so you can buy them immediately with the Voidium you start with.
- The gravity tether is on the interact key. Debris is damage. Boss attacks deliberately drop throwable chunks.
- Do not spread modules across two weapons. Slots are limited and modules vanish at the end of a run.
- Play the demo if you have not. It is free, it has been patched to 0.9.25, and progress carries into the full game.

Straight answers
Is it worth $29.99? If the modding bench sounds fun, yes. If it sounds like homework, no — the bench is the game. The worth-it page spends a thousand words on the details, but that is the whole argument.
Do I need to play the demo first? Not if you already know you like movement shooters. But the demo is free, your progress transfers, and it is the only honest test of whether the dash feels right to you.
Which version is this site written for? 1.0, released 4 November 2026. Pages that describe systems added during Early Access name the update that added them.
Where do the numbers come from? Steam store data, the official announcement archive, the global achievement list and the Steam Deck compatibility report. Every page carries the date it was checked.
Read in this order
If you just bought it: Beginner guide → gun modding system → bosses. That is the first ten hours in three pages.
If you are deciding: 1.0 launch facts → price history → is it worth it.
If you are chasing achievements: achievements → builds and synergies → zones and progression.
The full index is on the guides page, which lists all 24 with a one-line promise for each.
